Associate in Arts Degree
The Associate in Arts degree is designed primarily to meet the requirements for a student to transfer to the junior level of a college or university to continue work toward a bachelor’s degree. Students should also be aware of the various, specific requirements for the Associate in Arts degree imposed by state regulations and/or law. These requirements include courses that develop reading, writing and computational skills, the exit test requirement (College Level Academic Skills Test), and, in some instances, a foreign language requirement. See Associate in Arts Degree Requirements for more information. Also see CLAST. See the Student Advising Department for articulation sheets.
