Equine Studies - Therapeutic Riding Management Specialization

The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment in a Therapeutic Riding Center.  The primary focus is to prepare students for the national certification examination as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor through the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NAHRA).  Additional careers include Volunteer Coordinator, Program Coordinator or Executive Director.

Base salary range for degree recipients : Certified Instructor $12-15/hour; Volunteer Coordinator $15,000 per year; Program Coordinator $30,000; Executive Director $35-45,000/year

Percentage of degree recipients placed in jobs within their field:  Not available as this is a new program.
